The Association holds information electronically regarding members details such as names and addresses and catch returns.
This information is held for internal use only and may be viewed only by authorised committee members and bailiffs, and, if requested for investigating criminal matters, the Police. Its use will be restricted to internal management purposes, including permit renewals, mailings, formulating association policies on membership and fishery management. Collective data on membership and catches may be made available but individual details will remain private.
The Association is obliged by law to give catch data to a number of statutory bodies. This is in the form of a cumulative total of fish caught per beat and no data is given on individual catches or reference made to any individual or any information given by which any individual could be identified
No information on any member will be divulged or intimated to any other third party or other organisation without the express permission of that member. Any member who believes any of his or her data has been inappropriately used should contact the Secretary immediately for clarification,
