Conservation.
The Allan Water Angling Improvement Association is committed to a sustainable policy on conservation of  fish stocks within the River Allan. There are a number of Statutory Rules   imposed by law, in addition the Association also imposes rules which are designed to enhance conservation and to promote sportsman-like angling. The FDSFB also have a code of practice for anglers which the Association  supports.
Anglers are expected conduct themselves properly and to behave in a fair and sportsmanlike fashion when on the river and to  respect other river users including anglers, canoeists, dog walkers, and all other members of the public.  Permits must be shown on request to Allan Water committee members and appointed  bailiffs. These persons will all have valid cards of authority which members are entitled to see and should ask for. Permits must also be shown to the Police and  Forth District Salmon Fishery Board bailiffs on request.

We would request all anglers to let us know of any issues or wrong doing on the river on the numbers listed below as quickly as possible. The earlier the information gets to us  the quicker we can react.
